Practicing the Presence of Jesus

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and curing every disease and every sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.  Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” - Matthew 9:35-38

Hi friends! We invite you to join us as we Practice the Presence of Jesus, through community, spiritual formation and by joining God in the neighborhood.

Community

The Gospel of John writes, "The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood" (John 1:14). We invite you to join us, as we Practice the Presence of Jesus, with our neighbors in Old Town Pasadena.

Spirituale Formatio

St. Paul reminds us, "And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image of Christ" (2 Cor. 3:18). We invite you to join us, as we Practice the Presence of Jesus, through prayer, scripture, sacraments, spiritual practices, retreats, and discipleship.

Joining God in the Neighborhood

Jesus said, “When I was hungry you fed me, when I was thirsty you gave me something to drink" (Mat. 25:35-40). We invite you to join us, as we Practice the Presence of Jesus, through missional opportunities, as we feed, mentor, tutor and bless our neighbors, at Union Station Homeless Services, Homeboy Industries, Tepito Coffee, and Olvera Street.
